Privacy policy

What you type into the timeline, the seating chart and the checklist is worked out in your browser and kept in its local storage. It is not uploaded. Guest lists, names, notes and contact details are never sent to the server.

What we collect

• Usage events: a random visitor id stored in your browser, the page path, the referring site, campaign tags in the link, the country (from the network), a rough device type and coarse actions such as “timeline generated” with broad buckets (for example a guest count of 100 or fewer), a PDF download, a print, or opening the pricing page. No names, no exact times and no text you typed.
• Forms: the email address and message you send through the contact form, or the email you enter at checkout to reserve the Vendor PDF Set.
• Network address: used only to limit how many requests one network can send, stored as a salted one-way hash in a counter.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) for anonymous usage statistics: pages viewed, which tools and buttons are used, and the pricing and checkout steps, with coarse device and country information. We never send names, email addresses, file names or anything you type to it. In addition, the site keeps its own first-party event log (described above). The site runs no advertising code. The hosting provider may also measure page views in aggregate.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data and we do not run ads. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for anonymous statistics.
• Your email is used only to reply to you or to send the one message about checkout you asked for.

Your choices

To have your email or messages deleted, email support@weddingdayplanner.site. Clearing your browser’s site data removes your saved timeline, guest list and checklist.
